My step daughter, Allison is 12 and we found out she has stargardts. We know very little about this and have no insurance for additional help for her. Is there anywhere we can get help for her without insurance? Also any advice on how to really explain to her about this? It breaks my heart that she could be blind in her early 20’s. Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated.
